MOMENT Flat Slab Post-Tensioning System
The MOMENT Post Tensioning (MPT) System is engineered and tested to meet strict international standards and is widely used in:

System Overview
The MOMENT Flat Slab System is typically used with bonded tendons. Each tendon consists of individually stressed strands housed in a flat galvanized steel duct (20 mm × 70 mm). Strands are anchored using a triangular flat anchor head and stressed one by one using a mono-strand jack. After stressing, ducts are filled with cement grout to ensure corrosion protection and proper bonding.
This system simplifies tendon placement, improves concrete pouring efficiency, and significantly reduces the amount of concrete and reinforcement steel required.
Dead-End Anchorage
Dead-end anchorage allows stressing from one side only, transferring the load effectively through the anchorage system
Barrel and Wedges
These components secure the prestressing strands during and after tensioning:
- Barrel: A tapered cylindrical piece that transfers strand forces to the anchorage.
